I bought eapro 7.5KW inverter to serve my need for whole house. My aim was to have continued power supply for 24 hours without worrying about having to switch on or off appliances like TV, fridge etc. This required 3000W solar panels(20 panels each 150W) and 10 batteries. overall cost was about 5 lakhs.
Well having spent so much I expected life to be hassle free.
Unfortunately, for last 2 months I am facing the problem. The system switches off with error "short circuit" displayed on panel. Funny part is it happens in early morning when sun is rising or/and in evening on sunset. Additionally only when grip power goes off.
Since I live in Saharanpur the power cut is frequent and irregular, almost 7-8 hours. The problem is explained to company but they are pushing back saying its problem in my house.
They accepted problem twice and again the engineer was not able to find anything wrong in my line or there inverter and hence they concluded its problem in my line.
So they checked my line still can’t find problem but are bluntly and illogically holding to their claim of everything is right with our inverter.
When I asked them is it working in any house? There response was no but they have system installed on petrol pumps, factories. None in house as people don’t spend so much for house electricity alternatives.
So this is the sad state of customer service. If you don’t understand problem just push it back saying that our thing is perfect and problem is with your house.
Funny thing is if I switch off solar input the system works without error. So why the problem of short circuit is not happening without solar input? No answer. The light comes and goes many time but the problem occurs only once in day and during evening or morning? No answer.
Finally I have decided to get rid of this inverter and go for simpler solution. So please be careful in buying what is established even if you have to pay extra.
I have already suffered and wasted 1.5 months with eapro guys. My verdict please avoid it go for Microtek, Kevin or sukam.
