I had booked tickets for myself and my family and had initially cancelled mine which went fine and then cancelled the tickets for the others later. They have a request which goes for cancellation and this went on 29th March for a travel date on 1st April. Since the cancellation request had gone to them I assumed they had cancelled but I did follow up twice for a confirmation as well.
For some reason they forgot to cancel this and on the 1st of April I got a SMS saying the flight was delayed. I was shocked and realized that they had forgotten to cancel my ticket and I called them again and they said there was some issue but they would take care and they would call me again. They called again later and I realized they had still not cancelled the ticket and by them the flight had departed. Their representative said that it was not my fault etc and they would get back. They neither got back not are they responding to my follow up mails and I have not go the refund either.
I was happy using Yatra and just thought I would try them since they were a couple of hundreds cheaper. The decision has cost me thousands and whats worse is their whole attitude is so unprofessional. I am continuing to fight for my money but its just sad that they are taking customers for a ride. I would actively discourage anyone from using them.
