I travelled through Kotak Life Mahindra. Our tour to Baku was Konklave Baku by Kotak Life from 2 to 5 Aug 2023. This tour was organized by Ease My Trip. I would like to give my feedback.
1) The flights from Air Arabia from Mumbai to Baku were a) Mumbai to Sharjah - G9 – 406 b) Sharjah to Baku - G9 – 305 where no water as well as breakfast was served. We were not informed that the water and refreshments were chargeable
Flights from Air Arabia from Baku to Mumbai were a) Baku to Sharjah - G9 – 304 b) Sharjah to Mumbai - G9 – 405 here breakfast was served.
But in whole Air Arabia flight AC was not functional and even when I complained there was no response from the crew of Air Arabia.
2) Our Tour Manager was Mdm Anita Dsouza. Each and every tourist of Kotak was given a bag. But inspite of reminding Mdm Anita again and again we didn’t got the bag. When I complained in the WhatsApp Group then Mr Abdul Rahim Patel Ji called me and provided me and my room mate Mr Moin Ul Haq with Souvenir bag.
3) We were told that our room was reserved for Baku Marriot Hotel Boulevard at Baku. Even after waiting many Kotak Tourists didn’t got the Room because of poor management of Ease my Trip Staff. When I asked about the room Ease my Trip staff very shamelessly and very rudely told me that “IF ROOM ARE NOT AVAILABLE WHAT CAN I DO”. This is for the first time I had heard such a shameless mannerless and rude reply from a staff. I had traveled through many tour and travel company. Mdm Anita Dsouza never bothered to look into the matter, inconvenience and problems which tourist were facing.
4) We were shifted to Sherton’s hotel where the door of our bathroom was not closing properly. After complaining with the staff the door was properly aligned.
5) On evening we were informed that there will be no Ferris wheel. Our Hotel was walking distance to Ferris wheel. When I was taking a walk I saw bus from Marriot Hotel. When I enquired tourist at Marriott hotel were being taken to Ferris wheel requested with Mdm Anita DSouza to wait and brought kotak tourist from Hotel to Ferris wheel
6) On 2nd August, Kotak Tourists of Sheraton Hotel were not taken to Shirvanshah Palace, miniature Book museum, maiden tower which was included in our itinerary.
7) On 3rd August during our tour to Fire Temple and Burning Mountain the AC of our bus was nonfunctional. When I complained I was given a lame excuse by Local tour guide and Mdm Anita that due to hot summer the bus will remain hot while AC is still functional. I had travelled in much hot summer and heat waves during May and June in AC buses in India and still the AC was functional.
8) On 4th August while our tour to I LOVE BAKU SPOT. I found a Key Card of Guest staying in Marriott hotel. In order to not create any inconvenience to our tourist from India I went and told Mdm Anita DSouza. Rather than listening she went to take pictures with fellow tourist. After 3 minutes I approached her and gave her the card. Rather then understanding the situation she in a very insulting and manner less tone rudely replied to me that she will take the card, as if she is doing me the favor.
9) ON Baku Shooting spot we were not informed that we have to make line and we will be provided tickets for shooting the gun.
10) Never ever the Kotak Tourists staying at Sheraton were properly provided with the updates and itinerary properly.
11) Neither we were taken to Yashil Bazar and Ganjlik Mall which was included in our itinerary. I had never ever seen such unorganized tour by such ill-mannered and irresponsible tour managers.
