After completing some important work in Kolkatta, I felt really satisfied to return to hyderabad. This was the first time I was coming in east coast express. Well, the horro started as soon as I entered the boggie. The seat which I had reserved was already occupied by some one else. Telling them to get up was of no use. Instead they started shouting and threatning me. I thought that this would be there for a short time. As the train starts at around 11:00 A.M from howrah, I expected to have some food. To my surprise I found that train has got no pantry. The train takes about 30 hours to got from howrah to secunderabad, as compared to 24 hours for other trains. At stations, the employees of irctc would come to book lunch and dinner. Then they would supply the dinners at some other stations. But the quality of food is horrendous. Leave alone eating it, it is very difficult to even bare it. Drunkards have an easy access to the train and create all kind of nuisance entering the train. The ticket checker is least bothered. Some seats are reserved for police in each boggie, but the police is even more irresponsible and they themselves are drunk. At stations if you dare to leave your seat and get down, you are bound to lose it. The train has worst things to offer. There are goons and other anti-social elements who have made trains their offices. Toilets and bathrooms are never cleaned. Caoches seemed to have not been cleaned for years. I would recommend to use the services of the train only in unavoidable circumstances.
