I completely agree with the above review.
I too read a lot of reviews about Eastman before joining this organization( all of them were bad) but I still joined this company and worked there for almost 4 years( pulled on) . The below points are unbiased and true .
You loose your job the moment you are not useful to the organization( no exceptions here) . They do not invest in developing your career or skill set, there is zero empathy in the organization . There is zero job security here.
The MD Mr Singhal, is an intelligent man however he has very impatient and constantly changes plans. You keep shifting roles every 3-4 months, which makes you useless in your role . He’s got a huge superiority complex and not a great person to work under . He also lies and exaggerates a lot, over commits and under delivers .
It suffer serious finanacial problems and is debt ridden, please do not give this company credit ever .
Suppliers and Customers - Stay away this company as they will make your life miserable for payment and supply of goods. These guys do not manufacture anything and trade everything.
Thier new Tubular Gel Batteries is a JOKE . I mean if you want to buy Tubular Gel batteries I beg of you to please buy it from Exide or HBL and not from these jokers.
Eastman’s Gautam Kumar - IS THE MOST UNETHICAL PERSON YOU CAN EVER MEET, HE IS THE EQUIVALENT OF A SLY AND EVIL BUTT KISSER, LIAR, AND A VERY ANNOYING PERSON . He is a person I pray you would never have to interact with, very unethical, does not meet his commitments, extreme exageration .
In short the people leading Eastman lack character, long term vision, and play on the hopes of the employees.
It is a company I pray, no one would have the miss fortune to work or deal with .
DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY( they would just ruin your career) . and if you do not believe me ask any old employee of EASTMAN on linkedin or facebook for thier feedback, they will say the same that I have mentioned.
