I booked a cab for July 1, 2010 at 10 AM. However, I was shocked to get a call from the driver at 10 AM saying he was still 30 min away. He started asking me for directions to the hotel - I am not from Blore, how am I supposed to know the directions?. He finally turned up at 11 AM, i.e. 1 hr late, disrupting my whole schedule for the day. In the evening when I asked for a bill he said he did not have a bill book. When I spoke to his owner, he said he never kept a bill book! When I complained to the Easy cab call center supervisor, he was very rude and just kept on repeating that the charges were Rs.1400 for the full day(and I was not even disputing the charges, only asking for a bill, to submit to my company).
To top it all, the next day a Meru cab turned up. When I asked the driver how Meru had come when I had booked Easy cab, he said the Easycab driver was his friend and as he had another duty, he had asked him to go. Asyou can see it is absolutely screwed up company in Bangalore, and I am not surprised at reading all the reviews. Are Easy cab bosses listening or they dont care a damn.
For reference, the Easy cab car no. on 1.07.10 was KA-01-4594, and the Meru cab that turned up on 2.07.10 had the last no. as 5732.
