This happened when I had booked a cab to go to the Yeswantpur railway station. The online booking was made well in advance and a prompt sms confirmed it.
However, when the cab did not arrive, I called the call center. They said that they would get back shortly. in 2 minutes I got a msg stating "Sorry your booking is cancelled due to non availability of cabs. Your next ride up to Rs. 500/- is free and ref id is."
Luckily I got a rick and reached station in nick of time. I thought to use this offer on return. I called the call center and asked them to book a cab. The surprise was that they said we cannot process it for a free ride and will take a booking only if I agree to pay the cab. The call center confirmed that there was a cancellation from their side but cannot give this offer. What the hell? EC has been advertising this heavily but it is a complete eyewash. They don’t even bother to give a reason for not extending this offer.
With so many cases in this forum, I guess we need to pool up and approach the consumer forum.
THIS IS THE MOST UNRELIABLE CAB SERVICE IN BANGALORE. Be CAUTIONED. Don’t be lured by any of the offers from these bunch of liars called Easy Cabs.
