Beware not to fall prey for discounts on food and pay to become prime member of this fraudulent app. I paid for prime membership on 21st Sep’25 and did first booking using the easydiner app and booked’ Dinner’ on 21st sep’25 at 830PM at kareem’s Restaurant, Andheri West, Mumbai. A booking ID was provided to me through the easydiner app. The rating of eatery was 4, which was misleading, as we realised after reaching the outlet. We travelled far in heavy rains to reach this outlet. It was unhygenic road side shop. Items served were pathetic. The food bill was INR919. I used eazydiner app and made payment of INR478 after discount provided by the app. To my surprise the outlet caretaker will not let us out of the outlet and asked me to pay the full bill of INR919, as they did not get any booking reference of mine from eazydiner and also they did not take any booking thru eazydiner, as eazydiner had not cleared their payment since last one year and did unethical business practice. I had to again pay the entire bill. INR478, which I paid through the app went to eazydiner and not to the food outlet. I called and narrated the embarassing situation to eazydiner team, who informed that they’ll escalate the matter internally and get back to me. Nothing happened, and I again paid the entire bill to food outlet and walked out. I am calling upon this fraudulent eazydiner company to address the matter and compensate me for the mental harassment and embarassing situation they have put me in. I’ll in parallel sue them for deficienty in services as well report the matter to national consumer helpline, Min of consumer affairs, New Delhi for suitable action. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD APP AND CARRY OUT YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM FALLING PREY TO FRAUDULENT DISCOUNT SCHEMES.
