Biggest Online Thieves, Nothing Like Warranty

I had purchased a Google Nexus 4 from Ebay. The phone worked well for first few days, but when I updated the software, my camera got deleted and I could not get my phonebook. So I returned the device to Ebay and asked for money back. Ebay people always managed to call me back only after 7-14 days and there is no way to talk to the Manager directly.

They told me that I would be given a new device although I asked for money itself. I was initially fine with it as they seemed nice while talking. Later I was told neither could I get my money back nor a new device because the IMEI tag was removed from. Ebay now refused to take any kind of responsibility for this. I was asked to talk directly to the shopkeeper 7Star Mobiles.

The shopkeeper told me they would charge 1000/- to repair it. After thinking of doing a police complaint, I decided to get at least the device back for time being, as those procedures would take too long.

Meanwhile, I wrote many emails to Ebay as well because they provided no way for users to talk to us directly. None of the emails were replied to. The name of the Manager that was given to me was Mr Mahesh Agarwal. If I ever meet him, I swear I will kill him for all the lies he told me!

Not only this, I had to send the phone to Ebay and the owner via DHL courier which cost me 2400/- INR. Ebay people were supposed to give me the money once everything was settled. I received the amount after 3 months of rigorous fighting with them.

This is the truth about Ebay, its a fake company, which tampers with your products to make them cheap.
