I had purchased a watch on Bazee around the end of Feb 2004 from a seller called ‘Tuffstuff’. I received it a few days later and was hugely disappointed with the quality, estimating the product to be worth 10 % of the value that I had paid. After sending my negative feedback to Bazee, the reply I got from the seller was that he will exchange my watch, ONLY on the condition that I change to review to positive as it hampers our sales. On my clear refusal to do so till I was satisfied, I sent the watch back (April). I have mailed Mr. Ismail Bhamla Tuffstuff almost a dozen times and on his asking, sent my address three times. I have also called him in Mumbai four times and always the same answer is given that he is away and that my message will be given.
Bazee has been regularly updated about this but besides an automated reply stating that they will resolve the matter within 3-4 days (on May 31), I have not heard from them.
Please be wary of Bazees attitude in general and their superseller Tuffstuff in particular. Mr. Bhamlas policy of blackmail ensures that he does not get a negative rating. One can visit the site and compare his postive ratings to other sellers. And to think of it, Bazee does not feature any negative ratings in his profile that appears in numbers besides his name Tuffstuff.
