Yet another Ebay victim

I had firmed up my mind to write a scathing review against Ebay. But the existing ones diluted my resolve. My problem is of minuscule proportions compared to what my predecessors have gone through. What I gather from the previous reviews is that this online retailer is a repeat offender. And it has not bothered to reform itself so far. I would never have done any business with Ebay, had I read the reviews prior to shopping.


Anyway, thanks Mouthshut for chronicling Ebay’s misdeeds so meticulously.


My problem is that the courier(DTDC) is delaying the delivery of the consignment. On its site it shows all sorts of bogus statuses against my waybill number. The real problem is that no one is ready to take it up and do something about it. The seller(infinity sales) is keeping me busy with its standard replies and empty assurances. Ebay customer care is worse than a government call center. After waiting for 4:30 minutes my call got answered. The executive who answered the call did nothing but read out the same information that I can access from Ebay site. She had no clue how to handle my problem.


Now much wiser with the power of hindsight, I will avoid Ebay like plague. I would advise the readers to do so. The E-Commerce space is highly competitive. There is no place for such poor performers.
