I have been shopping at ebay for five years now. To date my experience at ebay has been positive. I have bought over 20 items from books, movies CD’s and my latest purchase was a whole new home theater system that consists of an LCD player, a 54 x 84 inch movie screen, and an audio Dolby sound system. I am very pleased with these items except for a glitch in the Dolby sound system one of the outlets and speakers didn’t work when delivered to me. Check the seller’s background and find out who the seller is. Find out how long the seller has been selling items at ebay. Click the seller’s name, and go to seller’s feedback and see how much positive feedback does the seller have from other buyers. Is the seller an ebay Power Seller? Power Sellers are like Star Writers they are sellers that have been awarded this status by ebay because of their excellent/work track records of sales, and the overwhemly amount of positive feedback they have received from ebay buyers like you and I. However, if you don’t have the opportunity to buy from a Power Seller than follow the steps I’ve mentioned above. Make sure the seller has an excellent track record. By following the steps I’ve mentioned above you will be able to find all of the information you will need to help you with your buying decision.

I often hear and read sad stories of people sending cash, Money Orders, and personal checks directly to sellers at ebay, and ultimately losing their money and never receiving their items they paid for. If your items are not delivered to you in the timely fashion as set forth by ebay than ebay will advise you of the legal due process, and legal actions they will take to refund your money.
