Having read all the other reviews of Bazee I thought I too would share my experiences with them. I have been a user of BidorbuyIndia.com since a long time. I had bid for and purchased my first laptop from that site. So per se I am not against auction sites as I feel they serve a useful purpose.
I had an account with Bazee too but initially I preferred Bidorbuy due to its pleasing interface and ease of use. However after the merger/ takeover of Bidorbuy by Bazee they have taken the best qualities of both and both them together. Since then I have bought many things through Bazee and have been quite satisfied with all my purchases. I’ve bought a foldable keyboard, an optical mouse and also a travel package to Goa. Also I managed to sell my laptop (the one I had bought on Bidorbuy) at a good price. I made a new friend through whom I now buy DVD’s and other electronic items after winning one of his auctions on Bazee. I tend to buy only PC related material off the net but I know of many others who bid for other items as well.
So I personally feel that Bazee is not such a bad deal after all. Yes they may over hype in the media but in today’s world of dotcom busts at least they are survivors. Auction sites all over hype them selves to get noticed and most of them are not doing too well. Bazee with its new policy of charging the sellers for completed sales and stricter policies to check fraud bidding may just make it.
