I have been shopping on ebay.in for over 2 years and was happy(now I realize I was lucky) with my purchases so far. I always got items delivered on time and as described by the seller. But my last purchase made me lose my complete trust on Ebay and their so called PaisaPay guarantee.
I ordered a wireless USB mouse from a seller in mumbai(gadgetsguru.in). I received the item next day through local courier. It was an open item with the battery already inserted in the mouse. The batteries were complete drained out and leaking. Needless to say the mouse was not working. I called the seller immediately and was shocked by his rude response. Instead of apologizing he told me that he doesnt care if I leave a negative review on Ebay because it doesnt mean anything(?) I was asked to courier the item back to him. I then initiated a claim with Ebay and didnt hear back from them for 10 days inspite of me calling them 3 times. The claim adjuster finally called me after 2 weeks and asked me to ship the item back to seller and send the scanned copy of courier receipt to Ebay. I did that the next day but to me shock Ebay closed my claim because I didnt respond within 15 days. When I called them again and asked some tough question the customer support lady hung up on me! After repeated calling I finally got a response saying the claim case has been reopened and I should get a refund soon.
I bought the item online because I wanted to avoid the hassle of going to a store, but instead what I got from Ebay was a defective product, multiple phone calls to Ebay and a trip to the courier office. And I still havent got my money back after a month of making the purchase. I dont need this SHIT! Bye-Bye Ebay, you lost another loyal customer, thanks to your customer(dis)service.
