Tips for buying in Bazee.com

As a purchaser of more than 25 items in Bazee worth more than Rs 75000, I would like to give following tips to Bazee bidders.
For high value items, only bid for branded items.
Before bidding, ascertain it’s true value and you get an idea, if you run a search for the same item in Fixed price category.
Always check the shipping costs as the sellers are getting enormous profits from this.
If any problem arises try to solve it with the seller himself. Do report the problem to Bazee. Till the problem is sorted, don’t change the rating. Bazee is having a policy that for one item, you can report only one problem!!!!! Bazee people will send you mails stating that they have forwarded your mail to seller. Don’t expect more than this from Bazee. They are useless in this count. Try to place your orders with sellers having high positive ratings. ( High Neutral and negative ratings indicates potential danger).
Dealer warranty mostly increase the transport cost.
For laptop purchase, place your orders to sellers nearer to you. Personally go and visit the seller. Most laptop sellers offer you Rs500 to Rs 750 discount if you report the Bazee that the deal is mutually cancelled. As Bazee is not giving you any after sale support, at least you can save money. SNC warnings and negative ratings are immaterial for a buyer. You can always register in different name even if your SNC appeals are rejected.
For high value items don’t go for paisa pay online bank transfer as you are charged additional 2% money transfer charges. Instead get the A/c no. of the seller and transfer money by net banking and inform the seller about the transfer. TAKE THE PRINTOUT OF THE PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE PAGE.
