Slow support staff

If you get wrong/damaged product it takes forever for Ebay to get it resolved. 20 days resolution time is unacceptable for big business of this size. Some items are cheaper but it’s pointless because if you get the wrong product they’ll make sure to make you wait for as long as they can and you’ll be out of product+ out of money for those days.


Ebay is huge company so I’m not sure why their support staff haven’t hired more people to take care of things faster.


Solution: Use Amazon. If you get wrong product they pick it up from your home unlike Ebay where you have to pay for the shipping charges when you get damaged/wrong product and then you have to wait even longer to get your money back. Totally unacceptable and inconvenient.


Pros: Cheap buys, Sellers with high rating are decent to deal with and they’ll replace the product if you get wrong one.


Cons: Ebay Guarantee is WORST. They have slow staff and they give 20 days resolution time in claims(which is a lie). If you get wrong product and open a clam they take weeks before you receive a call from them. That is unacceptable. Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon offer faster return on purchases than Ebay.
