Derogation of the reputation

Ebay has hired so many useless sellers that it has spoiled its years old reputation. I, first heard of eBay while watching friends, the TV show, in one of the late 90s episode. It was considered as the best shopping site then. But now, the service is awful.


The sellers don’t care what the customer is going through. The sellers don’t respond to the calls and eBay doesn’t have the correct and active mobile numbers of the sellers.


The executives can’t speak in English and if you try to talk to them in hindi, they respond to you in their fractured English, making it difficult for us to understand them. Horrible communication. Some of the executives are rude. Amazon delivers stuff in a day or two. But eBay gives an estimation of 10 days and still asks for a 5 days extension.


The executives can’t even help you to generate a refund, which makes me question their existence and the entire idea of "customer service." They say they’re not authorised to generate the refunds. They are not authorised to contact the seller. They are not authorised to track the product. They’re not authorised to do anything. They shouldn’t be authorised to be alive.


I ordered and reordered the same product as it was supposed to be a gift and eBay doesn’t understand the priorities of its customers.Their constant excuses for their bad service and terrible customer service is gonna have them ended in a ditch.
