I had a very good experience with ebay from a very long time. With this experience I decided to buy a laptop from the ebay site. I did do comparison between multiple sites for the price and found one of the laptop(Sony VAIO) on ebay combined with the promotional dussehra gifts to be the best deal. Laptop was 30k+ so I was eligible for a 1 TB hard drive.
Ordered and received the laptop from the vendor with in the stipulated time and laptop quality was very good, so far very happy with the purchase and was looking forward for the hard drive. Even after 2 months did not receive any thing so decide to call up ebay. One of there customer care executive said it will take 60 days for the gift. Even till date its been more than 4 months I did not receive the gift and every time I call them up they simply say material shortage and hard drive will be delivered in a week. Even after six long calls nothing is happening.
I would recommend ebay if you want to purchase any thing but don’t trust there promotional offers.
