EBay is one of those amazing ideas that reach out to the whole world. True, you can find almost anything you seek on the web but you can find almost EVERYTHING all on this one site.
What is amazing about ebay is truly the product offering. You can search for the most unheard of, unique item and likely it will be there, there will likely be several. I am in Los Angeles so I have many resources to make purchases, but for someone in a rural area or with limited shops, eBay is a Godsend.
You can find the latest designer clothing and trends for a fraction of the price. Or you can search for items that are sold out at department stores and find them on eBay, though you may have to pay premium price. For instance, I purchased my UGG’s for $235US when they retail for $135 but there was a long waiting list for them and I wanted them right away.
Another feature I like is that you don’t always have to bid, often times there is the option to BUY IT NOW. Also it is simple to search for items, there are many sub categories until you get to exactly what you seek.
From pharmecuticals, to designer clothes, handbags, automobiles (my friend just bought a Toyota Sequoia on ebay and was very pleased) it is all on ebay. I’ve never been disappointed by them. Their fees are reasonable for sellers and with PayPal it’s always easy to complete transactions.
It may be overwhelming for one not experienced on the PC, but I believe eBay to be a great resource for all , young and old. And if you try it out and have a hard time, chances are there is someone you know who is a pro and who would be willing to help you.
