No Policies to Check Malpractices by Sellers

I was looking for a Jabra blue tooth headset and after much research found a few selling on ebay.in to be the cheapest ones around. I ordered the same and received it within the delivery timeline.

The trouble began when I started using the headset. The talktime I got was close to 15 minutes and unlike previous Jabra blue tooth headsets that I used, there were a lot of background noise. Also the headset was heavier than the advertised weight.

This made me believe that I was provided a duplicate product. I contacted the seller citing dissatisfaction with the product and requested a replacement or a refund. The seller said that he could provide neither per the small print on his product page. He advised me to take it to the service centre.

I contacted the ebay customer care and they seem to revert with a template answer of contacting the seller for the product.

Seems like ebay.in has become a place for palming off duplicate/refurbished products by branding them as new. There is absolutely no thought about customer satisfaction and ebay prefers to look the other way while sellers such as these continue their malpractice.

Verdict: Stay away! This is an online marketplace with zero ethics.
