Few days back I bought this router through ebay and in the description of the product, it is clearly mentioned that it is compatible with evdo dongles. I bought the same to use with Reliance 3 dongle. But to my surprise it is not being recognized.I tried to upgrade the firmware, but to my surprise, it is not found on the web site of the company.
Then I raised a claim on Ebay Paisapay for refund, they closed claim that it is having warranty. No where in the description part, the list of dongles were mentioned. I have bought several items from ebay but never come across this type of product.Any way I am contemplating to file a complaint against the seller and manufacturer for such shameful, deceitful product.
Do not buy this product unless you personally check and confirm. Today we have some dongle, tomorrow we will go to some other. The router must always support all the dongles by upgrading the firmware. As per the rule laid down in donoghue v stevenson, the manufacturer is directly responsible to the customer. Beware of Ebay and Lava before buying the product.
