This camera(2" TFT 1080P Car Dash 170° HD DVR Dual Camera Cam Recorder Night Vision G-sensor) is worthless on following grounds: 1) The original came with a charger that was not functioning at all. The vendor later replaced it with a charger which was not compatible for mounting the unit on the windshield(length of the chord was shorter than the original one) with the unit. 2) The unit will not retain the charge at all. Evan with continuous charging with the charger, when you are using the camera the charger depletes completely and the recording goes off very soon, rendering the whole concept useless. It can never serve as any proof of traffic events as mentioned in the web site. 3) The seal on the back cover was opened on the so called brand new piece(pierced with a screw driver to open the cover for some repair or the like). A sure sign that the vendor(seller) has not supplied a original piece. I brought the points(1) and(3) to the notices of the vendor immediately, and he did not respond in any way. 4) The night vision function mentioned in the title is misleading. It does not exist or does not function at all. You will simply see four led-s on the camera that all. They are dummies I presume. On the above ground, I feel strongly feel that I am justified in requesting for a refund. I do not consider it worth trying any replacement.
No body from the customer Care responded to this claim, though it is almost 20-30 days.
