I recently bought a laptop accessory at ebay for more than Rs 1000 rupees and it has been a nightmare experience buying from ebay.
First the seller listed that the battery works for all models of a laptop brand. When I received it, I checked and saw that it didnt! I sent it back to ebay seller by paying my own money through courier.
The seller had promised to send replacement battery on same day, Monday. But I waited for several days and didnt receive the battery. Only after I wrote a negative feedback to seller on ebay, he dispatched the replacement battery!
Next thing.
According to ebay 100% guarantee, they should refund the shipment cost for send defective products back to seller. In my case, I sent them the courier bill more than 3 weeks back. I sent several reminders and called customer care atleast 5-6 times. They said some other team will be handling this and they will call you. But no one called me.
Recently they closed the claim raised by me and didnt even refund the courier charges. the customer service of ebay seems to be among the worst of all ecommerce sites. And they seem eager to make false promises like 100% ebay guarantee.
