I ordered a gold 16 GB variant iPhone 5s which was listed ’brand new’ by the verified ebay seller. The payment was processed through net banking. The device was delivered 4 days past the estimated delivery date. The packing wasn’t even close to what one would call safe. Unboxing the device and starting it, I noticed there was a blank line in the middle of the screen and the display was faulty. I immediately got the ebay customer service on phone. While explaining my problem, instead of taking the matter in their own hands, they arguably insisted me on contacting the seller first. The seller arranged a straight-out exchange of my device for a new one, but the courier charges were paid from my pocket. The second device worked great, but was out of warranty. I tried to contact the seller, but he’s been unreachable ever since.
Ebay delivers low quality products and can’t even distinguish new from old products. I’d suggest you to buy stuff from notable online sites.
