Hi! friends You know about the popular online shopping company EBAY.IN. I think there is no seller protection. I will never use this site again after being burned by the "buyer protection policy." As a seller, you basically have no rights whatsoever. You have no protection AT ALL.
I sold an antique part. I was very clear in describing it as in DAMAGED condition. I pointed out the damage and took close up photos from various angles.
The buyer gets the item, then begins complaining about the EXACT same damage shown in the photos! Once the case was opened, ebay ruled in the dishonest buyer’s favor with NO QUESTIONS ASKED! They asked me for no input whatsoever.
The buyer is awarded his precious return from ebay, then the item is returned to me broken. I appealed the case. I explained I am now out of the money and the item. Ebay’s response was that I have no proof. I DO have proof! I made a video of me packing this item. It was NOT in that condition when it left my home!
I find it interesting that a buyer can complain of damage and ebay automatically takes their word for it without ever needing proof or evidence. Yet, when a seller complains about an item being returned broken, they aren’t believed and no amount of proof will help. Nope, sellers are treated worse than trash by ebay.
