On Mar 19th, 2014, I made the worst decision of buying a product [Magnetic White Board 3 Ft x 2Ft (bigger size)] from ebay for Rs 1300. From then on, every day I CURSE myself of being so stupid for choosing ebay when there are so many better ecommerce companies.
Let me tell WHY? Here are the problems, that I encountered at every stage:
PATHETIC DELIVERY: The delivery boy from the seller(affiliate Indian) was very rude. He doesnt know how to speak to the customer. In fact he refused to deliver at door step as he said he was running late.
DAMAGED PRODUCT: After so much of hardship, when I finally got the product and opened, a huge surprise was waiting for me. There was a big crack and the product is completely unusable.
POOR CUSTOMER CARE: Immediately, I tried to reach customer care. That is the most terrible experience because the average waiting time is 40 min. For me, that is the highest waiting time in history of customer care. To add on, they didnt responded well. They said that they can decide only after complete investigation.
NO TRANSPARENCY: For a moment, I thought good about ebay when they said my claim is approved. Upon request from ebay, I reshipped to the seller affiliate Indian and I spent 700 Rs just through professional courier. I mailed the receipt and waited for status of reimbursement of total cost (1300+ 700= Rs 2000) and as usual there was no response from them.
Where is this experience leading to? Now Ive started to hate the habit of buying online!
