I have been buying from eBay since last 5 years. Some of the experiences were good, some of them were bad. But one thing I would like to highlight about eBay is there customer support is good. Indeed there are vendors who are selling all kinds of products: from original to fake; from new to used to refurbished. Moreover what I like about eBay is the description of products are very good and genuine.
If you have received a damaged product, their customer care will help you to arrange a refund or exchange.
But once it happened was I got a product of low quality, it was a very beautiful necklace as per the images available but when I received it, it seemed very old and shabby. I asked to arrange for an exchange but they denied to do so as they said quality issues are not covered under eBay Guarantee.
Value for money: Yes and No both, depend upon seller completely

Comparison of Products: Cant be compared
Timely Delivery: Yes, mostly they post through Bluedart on speed post.
Customer support: Helpful sometimes.
The main pros of eBay is you can find almost any product you need.
But the point is on most of the products COD option is not applicable.
Also, I would like to highlight is whenever you are buying anything from eBay, do check the Vendor’s rating on mandatory basis.
