EBAY is looting from both buyer and seller. They are giving horrendous customer support. I have lost money both by buying and selling. Under eBay buyer protection plan they are extracting money from both buyer and seller.
Retailing through eBay is a low margin business and eBay increases the risk by their retrograde policies. You will lose out if you dont have good lawyers to fight your case. Almost all sellers in eBay are small businesses or individuals selling their used product.
They do not verify the condition of the product when people sell and when buyers make frivolous or genuine complaints seller / buyer loses out. They confiscate money from both buyers and sellers .They open PaisaPay account for sellers. They do not give proper information of the paisapay account.
1) Under RBI regulation they cannot process payment without the consent of the sellers. But they are processing claims without the consent of the sellers.
2) They are not sending details like the outstanding balance, details of the charges, fees and claims of the PaisaPay account they are maintaining for the sellers.
3) They are not sending invoices of the fees , charges, and claims of the PaisaPay before deducting them.
4) They are processing claims without even the buyer returning the product to the seller which is a direct violation of their own policies.
These are direct violations of the Consumer Act if you are a seller then you will lose out because they are confiscating money of the sellers, in one stroke you will lose out not only your profits but also your capital.
This is a dangerous organization. I have raised complaint to RBI and will file case in the consumer court. They are looting people in broad daylight.
They are making money because most people sell or buy low value items and nobody bothers to file a case for low value items.
