I bought some blank DVD pack from ebay seller. Seller sent it in a bubble wrap polythene, and discs were not in actual DVD round box.( there were from 500 or 1000 dvd pack) The ad on ebay showed the actual DVD box case. Some DVDs were already having scratch and dirt on them. Asked seller 2-3 times and even send a mail. His intentions were never to replace them. so everytime he assured me to change it.
So finally gave negative review, for which seller went to ebay community court, with complete lie that I didnt contact him for DVD replacement. I wrote my side of story, but guess all the jury members were sellers. so they gave verdict in sellers favour. ( Odds 51% against 49% ). Finally the negative reviews were removed. I contacted ebay customer care, they told me that they cant do anything. They can only warn the seller.
Now since seller has got his negative review removed. He doesn’t even want to listen to my call. Ebay has found a very unique way to get rid of negative ratings for sellers. Previously if you wrote a negative review, atleast sellers try and and it was removed mutually. Now nothings like that.
Thankfully I only got a hit of 100-150 Rs hit. what if I would have bought some 5 to 10K Rs worth of stuff. I would think twice now before buying anything from ebay.
