Not required to say that Ebay India or Ebay is/are one of the best buy/sell platforms. You can even sell the dirt of your place on ebay. Trust Me on that! Ebay has helped me sell a lot of items at a good price which would have been impossible to sell as an individual.
The problem comes when you have to reach the Customer Support for some help. Though the system is effectively designed and most of the requests can be performed by users themselves but there are times when you have to reach Customer Support and that may turn down your idea of Ebay completely.
One of the worst Customer Support in E-Commerce business. They behave like running government offices of India. They will only talk about policies and do nothing. It’s like a Chinese Electronic product, if you are lucky then everything is fine for you. In one week I sold items worth 1, 50, 000 on ebay and ebay didn’t process my money saying they want me to complete KYC. These stupid policies which help ebay hold other’s money for a substantial amount of time is a part of the profit giving model. Imagine the amount of interest on the money which ebay would be earning.
I have a neutral attitude towards Ebay India as it has helped me get rid of a lot of things at heavenly prices. I would suggest always avoid customer care to the maximum possible extent.
