EC41...I’m surprised again no reviews on this... well this place was once the most happening place in chennai...I mean what more can u want than a drive down ecr, a huge dance floor, not-so expensive drinks, and lots of music and all the crowd...
Well over the years or should I say in a short while it was out... if u drove on to ecr for a party it was a private one or a rave... no EC41... I remember everyone telling me about it before I moved into town... it was this amazing place by the beach where an amazing crowd came. I mean u could even go up to people and just make friends! ! ! now why the exclamation...
If there is one thing I have realised its that , this one metro you cant do that.. you can’t walk up to people and make friends without people thinkin your mad or a freak... thats Chennai , .it is so cold but all in the name of traditional I believe..I dont believe that...but lets leave that.. Ec 41 is a good twnety minute or so drive from adyar...now timings are tentative as the traffic is unpredictable.... and as the name says the address is 41, ECR road...
Well now the place is as dead can be...sometimes I wonder why.. its got everything nice sounding as a business proposition, be the beach , good sound, dance floor etc etc... the one party I went for was awesome too, the Terminal Battery thing couple years ago..
But like I said its dead now. the joke about this place is that if u go now, there will be four people there. The DJ, the watchman, and the two waiters...
But its still ok if u take a huge gang.. like if twenty or thirty of your friends gang up then the place is yours to rule.. thats the only way to go to this place...think the entry fee is around 250 or 400...not sure which now...some times they dont charge also I believe...thats as much as I know...
All the best is all I can say...if it ain’t a big gang then the drive till there is a waste.
