When I was returning from Delhi to Pune with my family last week, my Rajdhani from Delhi to Mumbai got delayed, so much so that I knew I’d be missing my connecting train to Pune. With no option to book another train ticket amidst train journey, I was desperately looking for other viable options to travel to Pune. The volvo or other similar options would have been cumbersome since we were carrying enough luggage with us. The only option left was to book a cab. I was trying all my options with different cab companies when one of my friends suggested trying out e-cabs.
Not only I found their price competitive at Rs. 1700/- for Indica(A/c), they appeared professional over phone and I immediately decided to finalise on them.
Though our train got further delayed by 3 more hours the driver(Nitesh) was patiently waiting for us at Mumbai central station. On our arrival, we were happy to see him receive us on the platform with a smiling face in spite of this long wait(a rare scene!). On enquiry he politely said he was waiting for 5 long hours for us and we left guilty for making him wait so long for us(courtesy Indian Railways).
Driver immediately arranged our luggage in the car(which was new) and safely drove us to our residence in Pune.
I was highly impressed by the service of the driver and the company in general, which constantly kept in touch with us throughout our journey to ensure we were having safe and pleasant journey.
I’d highly recommend this service to anyone traveling from Mumbai to Pune. Not sure if they offer similar service from Pune to Mumbai also. You can always check this out!
