Worst Experience Ever with Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro

Buying the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni(Special N30) has been one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made.


Since day one, this machine has not worked properly — not even once.


The robot constantly forgets the map of my home. I’ve had to reset and remap it multiple times, and every single time, it loses the saved layout. For something that’s supposed to be smart and autonomous, it’s shockingly unreliable.


We’re a working couple with a pet, and we purchased this expecting it would save time and help keep our home clean. Instead, it’s been a daily struggle. Every use requires manual intervention — rebooting, remapping, or physically moving the device. The amount of time we’ve spent fixing it defeats the very purpose of automation.


Worse still, it doesn’t even follow basic commands:


When we select Mop Only, it starts vacuuming.


When we select Vacuum Only, it does both vacuuming and mopping.


These issues have been there since day one, and despite repeatedly informing the technical team, no one has taken them seriously or offered a lasting fix.


And the odor problem is unbearable. Every time it runs, the house starts to stink. We clean the tank, change the water each time, and even spent ₹;6, 000–₹;7, 000 on the official Ecovacs cleaning liquid — nothing helped.


To make matters worse, the customer service is terrible. The team visited once in the beginning and then completely disappeared. Calls and complaints are ignored. There’s no accountability, no ownership, and no resolution.


We spent over ₹;50, 000 on this product expecting premium performance and convenience. Instead, we received a machine that doesn’t work at all.


It’s literally lying unused at home, brand new, because it simply cannot function the way it’s supposed to.


Ecovacs as a brand has turned out to be unreliable, unresponsive, and far from customer-centric. It’s been an absolute waste of money, time, and peace of mind.


Honestly, one should rather invest in brands like Dyson, which actually stand by their quality and offer proper service. Ecovacs, on the other hand, has been a terrible experience — poor product, poor support, and no sense of responsibility.


@Ecovacs — please take ownership, take back this defective unit, and refund my money. Customers deserve far better than this.
