Sir, I am working in one of the Para Military Forces at Kolkata. I am already an existing customer of Loan against property with Edelweiss Finance since 2 &1/2 years. Recently I applied for Salary Advance product and customer care officer responded and asked me my details to process my loan. Once I told that I am working in one of the Para Military Forces, the Customer Care Officer told me that they cannot process my loan application as I am a Security Person. I told that Yes I am a security person and also an Central Government employee. Even then they are not interested to extend loan. Still many banks are not treating the Para Military Forces, Army, Civil Police personnel as normal people. I was very much disappointed with the way they responded to my query.
In this regard, I am to bring the following facts
I am an existing customer for loan against property from Edelweiss Finance. Why you gave loan against property and why you are rejecting Salary Advance. What is the reason behind extending loan against property to me being a Security person.
My request is to treat all security personnel, Armed forces, Para Military forces as normal people and extend all facilities like extending loans be considered.
