I had applied for a Housing loan from Edelweiss of 70% of the property Value and because on their commitment, I paid the builder 20%, I still needed time to pay the balance 10% and the stamp duty charges .I asked sales Representative Ramesh Prajapati to give sanction, letter they said you deposit the Processing fees after that we will give sanction letter.He very well convinced me in buying the property .Once I paid the Processing fees even though sanction was valid for 6 months, after 15 days I saw Edelweiss started deducting EMI from my bank without giving me Loan Money. When I asked the sales Person Ramesh he said don’t worry it will be adjusted in your principal or he will adjust in the the emi after disbursal.Because they started deducting EMI from my account , My planning for disturbed and started running short of funds . Registration took 3 months and by that time they had charged me 5 Emi and deducted 5 lakhs from my loan as Insurance that had put me in another shortage of money.I insisted them I will pay yearly premium as property insurance, but now no one listened niether replied my mail.
After disbursal I sent a mail immediately to the company what about the advance 5 emi, please reply there was no reply to my mail till 2 months so I did not pay two EMI I visited Branch in kurla because they had put a case on me in Kolkata on May 2022 after one month of disbursal of loan to Harress me and in June in Ahmedabad . They simply refused that they will not adjust and threatened me that if I complain about it any where they will cancel my loan.I was panicked had a panick attack and started paying my EMI from July 2022 , but I had complained RBI . I was shocked to recieve a letter that my account is converted NPA. So much in justices After three months of loan disbursal and even though they had my 5 advance EMI they recalled my full loan and put cases in Kolkata and Ahmedabad to Harress me.
But I still continued paying my EMI .on January 2023 ( after 9 months) they took symbolic possession of my flat .I kept on begging please adjust my 5 advance EMI .No body listened they took me to Arbitrator.When ever I visited arbitrator on the date given by arbitrator he was absent and office under construction.I had to hire a lawyer but it was worst he only took money and asked me to stop paying EMI as loan is now NPA .I listened him .I had to hire another lawyer, he adviced to file case in DRT .When I visited DRT they said there is no urgency to fight now. In this one year I lost all my business running to Kolkata, bank, lawyers court spent lots of money and was goingin moreand more debt .
Edelweiss brought order from MM court to attach the property .I got stay from DRT to pay all 10 Balance EMI.I told the court I have advance 5 emi kindly adjust that and balance I will pay.
I thaught of selling the property and come out of this mess I got 5 clients .My Tenant who was staying in my property tried to manage and bribe the bank employees to sell the house to him at 40% less than Market value .My tenant did not allow me to sell property in market value to my buyers he assulted me and threw me out of my house because Edelweiss Gundas were supporting him .They only recovered their loan amount and zero money to me.I had a loss of 70 lakhs .But I am still fighting and will fight till last breath will not commit sucied. Nitin Desai was tortured by Edelweiss .I have sent 5 mails to the chairman Rashesh Shah no reply , no body listens.I am a single lady with a loss of 70 lakhs today no place to survive .They follow all false malpractice to take their money out by hook or crook
