I purchased a term life insurance from Edelweiss ONLINE, along with 3 riders for a sum of Rs.25590/-
There were several bugs on their online purchase pages.further
Edelweiss acknowledged the payment on monday 29Dec on email, however no one contacted me for Medical Examination.
I waited for 3 days.
When I called repeatedly, a gentleman called me but with incorrect information about my cover details on thu 01Jan15.
Next another person has contacted me on 02Jan15 Friday, but they are insisting on asking for personal information likeDate of Birth on the phone
I am not willing to share any personal information over then phone.
I have asked them to either process the proposal based on scanned copies or have the original documents verified at my residence
they have not agreed to this.
Therefore, I have asked them to refund the sum of Rs.25590/- however they are not proceeding with this either, even after 5 working days of receiving payment, no action whatsoever has been taken by them.
APART FROM BEING INCOMMUNICATIVE, I FOUND THEM EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE AS WELL AS CALLOUS ABOUT CUSTOMER INFORMATION PRIVACY
IN THE PROCESS I AM BEING CHEATED OF MY MONEY.
