It was my first experience to watch a match live in a cricket stadium, and my experience was just awesome, I can't express.it was 23rd march 2019 I saw the first match between Kolkata knight riders and Sun rises hydrabad.I can't explain how much I was exited to see the match because I went to kolkata city first time.
We stayed at Purba Burdwan.On the play day we took bus and reached to Dharmatala. We can see from here the playground, it was almost 1km away from dharmatala.Then we went to the tickets counter, though we booked tickets online, and collected our tickets.this was very easy to collect booked tickets.The cricket committee arranged everything very beautifully so that audience can reach to their seats without any problems.There were lots of police for security purposes, this was very good. I remember there were lots of black tickets seller so that if anyone wants to buy tickets instantly they can buy from there.
There war total 13 gates to enter the stadium.we paased through 12 number gate.they checked my ticket and finally entered the stadium. I saw how big, round and beautiful it is. I sat under the big screen, this was amazing view from this place. The local area or sight was also good and clean.it was full of foods and juice.we enjoyed a lot there.
In the middle of a inning suddenly half lights goes off.it was some technical problem but it is ok. Sometimes later lights get on. After enjoying the match we went to sealdah, stayed in a hotel one night, which was quite good.we shopped from the local street though it was sunday.Next morning we leaved kolakata and came back to Burdwan.
So my conclusion is the Eden Garden is a very important place of Kolkata and also for west bengal.This playground is the history and heart of the kolkata city.
