The magazine, published by the education department, is circulated among students and teachers of all government schools in the state. It also covers issues related to school-children, food and nutrition, teaching methodology, database, motivational stories and periodic activities and achievements of various schools.
According to the education department, there are around 14, 500 government schools in Haryana and the magazine is circulated among most of them.Sources in the education department said the primary education department had withdrawn the online edition of the magazine’s September issue when the’beef’ reference was pointed out to authorities. However, the online issue is still available on the web portal of the secondary education department.
