" EENADU" a most popular regional news paper and is conceived for the Telugu people.It is the most circulated newspaper in AP. EENADU continues its hloy run since it was founded in the early decade of 1970’s by Ramoji Rao, also the founder of Ramoji film city, hyderabad-the biggest film city in ASIA.Mr.Ramoji Rao is the chief Editor of the newspaper who is a prolific writer who has earned many fans for his particular way of presenting news.I have seen many people in AP including my family members who feel that their morning is incomplete without ’ EENADU’.It has earned such a reputation in the daily lives of the Telugu people.Its has got an average circulation of about 11lakh per day in AP.Among the national readership in 1997, about 44lakh rurual people read eeenadu which is the amongst all the English or other regional language newspapers in India.Recently, a new newspaper was launched by Jagana Mohan Reddy, son of Hon.Chief minister Dr.YS Rajashekara reddy named ’SAKSHI" which has carried more of abusing EENADU rather than news.That particular paper has come with a a relatively low price and which more added colourful stuff so as to divert the regular readers from eenadu.
As a result of the hype created arounf the newspaper it had high circulation initially which resulted in the dip of EENADU’s circulation.Soon, people realised that "sakshi" is full of blind colours than information and then they moved back to EENADU.This shows that only quality of news and correctness of information matters rahter than added colors. EENADU brings the news with a good style of presentaion in text.The text itself is catchy.There are De-merits also.EENADU usually supports TDP and also had played an important role in changing the governments.I feel that it is partially responsible for the long run of the TDP government as EENADU is the vital source of news during that period.But it often Points the Government of various scams and scandals regarless of which party forms the government.The ADD-ON stuff is also very good.Everyday it has a special like Chaduvu-related to eduction, Champion-sports, etc.I personally like EETHARAM because it give s the insight of the youth and the outraging talents going on.Sunday special edition is what most of the people die for. it contains various cereals, autobiographies of celebs, successful doctor, engineers, etc.finally, it is the mouthpiece of Andhra Pradesh and for telugu people in the country.
Most of the NRI’s even read E-paper.They use this e-paper for teaching Telugu for their children.This shows the language clarity in this particular news paper has got....
