Flew to Cairo from Mumbai and back with my wife on EgyptAir. I have flown on many airlines before but I was surprised by EgyptAir. The checkin at Mumbai was quick and efficient. The person at the check-in counter gave us perfect seats as I informed him that it was my wife’s first flight. Got a very good view of Mumbai whilst taking off. The crew on-board were cheerful professional and patient with quite a number of kids on board. The in-flight entertainment system is non-existent but was not missed much as we were constantly looking outside the window and taking photographs for most of the journey.
The food was much better than what some other renowned airlines serve. There is no alcohol on board EgyptAir. All in all the flights to and from Cairo were very pleasant. Cairo airport is very efficient and the baggage did not take very long to arrive although the communicating with the officials at immigration is difficult because most of them do not understand English that well. But they were very courteous and made it up by their cheerfulness. Would not mind flying egyptAir again.
