"Ek Aurat ki marzi hi, uski marzi hoti hai. Aur us marzi se badkar kisi Deewane ki Deewaniyat, kuch nahi hoti hai".
This line refers to many of todays generation love stories. Nowadays, people know how to love, become rebellious in their stories, but they dont know what to expect and what love truly means.
Story:-
Vikram Aditya Bhosale, a powerful man of Maharashtra, is led by his Dad to become the next Chief Minister of the state. He was misdirected by his father from birth, and fell in love with Ada Randhawa in their first meeting at the airport. Later on, in PR, invite a celebrity of the nation, Ada, to an army camp to promote his election rallies in order to get peoples votes. Accidentally, he revealed his love towards her, and as usual, she didnt like it.
Coming back to Mumbai, Vikram instantly put a marriage proposal in front of Ada and her family. She declines by justifying that this is not love; instead, this is madness. Powerful Vikram tries everything to convince Ada to accept his marriage proposal. But, she didnt. After so many times, and seeing how powerful Vikram is, she finally put an open challenge in one of his speeches that in Seven Days to Dussehra, whoever kills Vikram, she will sleep with him for one night.
Seeing this, in this modern generation of Ramayana is totally worthless as its just completely a useless ego and attitude which will go on to end or worse both lives. Vikram now realize his mistake and again tries everything to win Adas heart by good deeds, now. But, now, rebellious Ada no longer want to not only accept him, but also not want to get fall for his even for a single act.
At the end, Vikrams Dad finds a solution where he asks Vikrams right-hand Sawant to kill Ada in Dussehra, and it should be portrayed as if someone is trying to kill Vikram and accidentally kills Ada. But destiny, Sawant mistakenly shot Vikram only, and hence Ada forgave Vikram at last. But, not accept his Love or Deewaniyat!
Music:-
All the songs are beyond imagination good. Starting from the title track "Deewaniyat", to Heart Broken "Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga" is well played, touching the heart.
"Mera Hua" was made a love anthem for this movie. Along with an item song, "Dil Dil Dil" was a remake of an old Bollywood song.
Acting/Cast:-
After returning from a long break, Harshvardhan Rane created history again by playing the role of Vikram Aditya Bhosale. After watching Housefull 5, I honestly dont have any expectations from Sonam Bajwa, but she played quite well in the role of Adaa Randhawa.
Side Characters, such as Shaad Randhawa in the role of Sawant, played a good friend character. Also, the legend Sachin Khedek in the role of Vikrams Father was nice too.
Conclusion:-
Overall, this movie is quite decent and to watching. Not very complicated or complex storyline, but a normal, straightforward story. I can watch this movie again for Harshvardhans performance and for all the songs. According to me, the comeback has literally made his golden days back!
