Ek accha director tha...!!!

The realm of film making is the most complex and creative as it can get, and ram gopal verma was onr man who excelled in it , not because of the fact that he understood the pulse of the people and that he played to that, but because of his unique and fresh style which struck a cord with the masses.

As a producer he has not been able to exert as much direct influence as he would have liked to , that is quite evident in the way the movie has been handles especially the last 30 mins. It being a spin off from a famous sidney sheldon novel notwithstanding and adaptation and in particular the editing is stupendous. What is missing in the movie is that slight element of suspense and thrill ( a la` GUPT) which could have made it nail biting and much more riveting. Credit needs to be given where it is due and the music director stands first in my list as far as this movie goes, catchy and yet suggestive thematic sound effects and music scores which keep up the ambience of the movie and the story line.

Saif has tried his level best to look different with the changed villainish kind of role, but alas, I guess that is what seperates the boys from the men, there are some actors who can grow into any role given to them and still manage to sell it, while there are others who can only pass off as ceratin types. URMILA has matured into a brilliant actress ( has come a long way from her skimpy rangeela days..) kudos to her for her superior histrionics.

Can be seen once( but not in an INOX which charges some 130/-Rs per ticket), , , u know what I mean...
