Urmila Martondkar was beautiful and remains so till the last scene of the film. So the title should be There was a beauty once upon a time and there still is!’
A very good movie. A movie that helps you retain your faith in bollywood. You breathe a sigh of relief that some bollywood movies can be sensible.
The direction and editing are flawless. The only scene that that stuck out a bit was where the fashion photographer was trying to get Urmila into his fold in the hotel.
Urmila has acted as if it was her life. The story apart, the movie pricks you on the harsh inhuman realities of our justice system and the system of punishments.
Saif has competed very closely with Urmila in acting. Seem Bishwas was a bit of miscast in police inspectors role and so was her male colleague.
The lawyer (I do not know who the actor is) impressed.
I liked the ending very well. As Urmila says death is a very small punishment for some crimes!
