My exp. with ekta packers and movers was very bad. Service is not justified according to the money paid. They charged us 25k for Fridge, washing machine, a folding bed, an almirah, few kitchen stuff(boxes and utensils only), inverter, other houshold stuff(in small boxes only). Out of above...we got the battery but the inverter was missing, one box(containing bathroom stuff) was missingFridge was not packed properly, mishandled and got dent on the door.similarly, fully automatic washing machine was not packed properly.One suggestion for eerybody....when packers are packing your things...please stand and watch what material they are using. If it is sufficient enough to protect the things or not. Coz packers try to complete the packing work in short time, during that the packing may not be proper.And one very very important thing is that never leave your original electronic appliance carton.
Tell the packers to pack over it. Keep that. Its only the original acrton is going to save your appliances because packers use very low quality packing paper. Which does not act as a good shock absorber for heavy materials.If washing machine is front load then check carefully if packers are locking the drum properly or not. One of my friends washing machine was spoiled by packers only. They didn’t screwed properly and it was not on the point. Packer screwed forcefully and the drum was broken from inside.
Hence please make sure that its done by you only or if packer is doing then keep an eye. Please count the boxes and number them according to your preference. I would say listen to the packers but not required to agree with them. Make two copies of the list. one for you and one for packers and get signed. We lost around 15k stuff during shifting and ekta packers owner stopped responding to our phone when we called to claim our insurance. So please make sure that when you are going for shifting. Please click the pictures before packing so that you can present the before and after, also you have to present them as a proof during insurance claim. We were not aware of this hence I am writing this review so that other can have the benefit. Ekta packers and movers are never recommended. Their behavior after receiving the amount, changed completely. Rude and discourteous. Also giving false statements like today or tomorrow, we will contact you. They have many branches.
