Avoid Ekya School for reasons mentioned here

Only good thing about the school is that it has a good interior but most other things are negative.

This school has an arrogant attitude.   Management and everyone including Principal is arrogant. Any communication sent to the school is never replied to. But they remember you and remind you to pay fees and send instructions and orders to do several things for activities etc. They use some software like Google Classroom but have strictly asked parents not to write emails or messages to teachers because the option is deactivated.

Before paying fees they are nice and sweet. Things change thereafter.

Lack of playground is another problem.

No space for parking around the school, no place to safely drop your child.   Very congested entryways.   Even the security guards are uneducated and ill mannered.   They don’t care for children and speak to them rudely.

There is absolute lack of manners towards parents.

There is no Parent Teacher association.   Some teachers are good but some are old styled and strict towards little children.

Buses of the school are operated by external travel operators.   The drivers are rash and drive really fast.

Residents around have complained about the congestion the school is bringing.

The people around hate Ekya parents whom they regard as a nuisance for parking cars and scooters all over which is understandable.

Cleanliness around the school is in a bad state.   Don’t be surprised to see garbage littered around and animal poop around untouched.   Hardly any space to walk and you are forced to tackle vehicles and congestion during pick and drop.

A parent had even take legal route to fight against school for expelling her child in 2017/18 because she was very vocal about criticising the schools demerits.   Since the school is owned by the daughter of an ex-politician she didn’t get scared of the parent.

Expecting children to be perfect is not right.   Sometimes parents and children are embarassed with the way they handle late comers or for silly mistakes of the kid.   Kids are like flowers they need love and affection more than education.
