I was enticed by the low cost air conditioner being sold by the Electolux in a fair. An Electolux AC SQ33NCD1 (3 star) 1T, I purchased on 17/01/14 and it was sparingly used for just one year. On the onset of the summer once it was started then I found that its condenser has been rusted and the service man says that they are using inferior aluminum product in the AC to reduce the cost and they are pushing inferior product into the market.
Now they are telling that for putting a copper condenser I will have to shell out seven thousand Rs. for its repair. This is plain cheating by this so called multi-national company. I don’t know what action could be taken against them but please spread this information so that no more customers could be cheated by these companies having big names.
I advice not to purchase any of the Electrolux Product.
