I bought EBP225 / 2011 direct cool fridge, it is of red color with stripes. I searched a lot online and gone through reviews before making the purchase.The only reason I bought this one is simply because of its attractive color, its simply cool. The problem with this model is that it does not have a built-in stabilizer, which is really bad. I didn’t notice this while purchasing, otherwise I would have never gone for it.
Basically, the direct cool (means single door) fridges are timed out. My suggestion is don’t go for any single door one. Spend some more money and go for double door.The reason is you get extra space in double door that is the ice zone.Now a days, nobody uses the ice zone for making ice cubes. So, you can use that ice zone also as a fridge in double door. In a single door fridge, you can only use the ice zone for making ice, nothing more than that it is a wastage. Means, like if the net capacity of the fridge is 210 liters, the 30-40 liters will be gone for ice zone, which is of no use.
You don’t have to defrost a double-door fridge, which is a problem you got to face with single-door one.
I wont recommend this model. Instead go for Samsung. Don’t go for single door. Take my advice, spend a little more and get double-door fridge.
