Quiet part of the kitchen & our lives

We have used the 610 for 2 years now - and are pretty happy

with our decision to go in for this. I’ve written a separate

comment on the advantages of a dishwasher - so I’ll keep

this short:

Pros:

-----

  • big on space. Have washed dishes after numerous parties.

2 Hawkins Futuras (5 & 7 litres), lotsa plates, serving

dishes, non sticks and a kadhai go in with some practised

loading

  • quick and quiet - in about 45 mins you’re ready to cook

again :) And the dishes come out dry and comfortably warm

  • hygienic cleaning - with decent settings it has not stained

anything yet.

  • Its got 2 roatarywater jets (or whatever u call them)

cleaning’s as effective in the upper shelf.

  • upper shelf is adjustable - so I’ve created more space

for ’taller’ dishes below.

  • The insides of the dishwasher are a breeze to clean. Enuf

filters etc to ensure no muck gets into the drains.

  • The salt indicator is useful and works (the salt is for

water softening - NOT NaCl).

  • Looks awesome and top notch build quality - no scratch

yet and with a soft washcloth - looks as white as when we

bought it.

Cons:

------

  • Electricity bills are higher - though I don’t know if

this is against other models or just the maid :)

  • more expensive than some models

I’d really recommend this model. Electrolux guys are not too

well informed - one actually suggested I could use table salt

for softening! They’ve also not followed up on the consumables

well enough - IFB has (but the IFB appliances do not age too

well - under ur kitchen countertop that’ll be an issue soon).
