While buying a car, I have always looked at the technical specs of a car than just looks. Sadly, most of us look at the styling and I have seen ALL car manufacturers use this as the main selling point than any real technical superiority than ABS, fuel efficiency, etc.
I was doing a detailed study on buying a new car and had narrowed it dwon to Skoda until I heard two feedbacks from existing users; one from Bangalore and one from Pune.
The Skoda is not really meant for Indian pot-hole-ridden roads since the fuel filter and/or fuel pipe tends to scrap and breakup causing immediate fuel spillage and possible danger !!!! To top this the cost for fixing it, as I have been given to undersatnd, is also astronomically high.
Request the manufacturers to clarify on this.

PS: Overall a good car, but then I will like to hold on to my horses.
