I read all the negative reviews on the net AFTER ordering my e-cig from STEAMZ.IN and paying my money into their account. So I was a little concerned and wondered what I was about to receive.is it really a hoax? Have a flushed my money and my dream of giving up the real cig down the toilet?
I ordered a value pack for INR4000 and this is what I got:
1) The package took about 6 days by courier, which I had to go collect from their office eventually. For that I blame the courier service and not Steamz.
2) The battery was fully charged straight out of the pack and I started immediately.
3) Initially I suced hard at the cig, not a lot of smoke or hit, and was convinced it might actually be a hoax. But then I discovered the trick was to PULL MORE GENTLY and NOT SUK HARD. THERE WAS LOTS OF SMOKE AND A GREAT NICOTINE HIT AT THE BACK OF THE THROAT, just like a real cig.
4) It is a little heavy but I can live with that. It feels good in your hand and the plastic is actually very good quality.
5) No nicotine fluid or any other liquid drips from the cig. It is clean and easy to use and since its a new toy to play with, I’ve been su**ing away all day and I’m on my second cartridge. I thought a cartridge might last a little longer. May be I’ve been puffing more than the advertised 300 time per cartridge.
6) The charger works fine and I tried it out anyway to see if was working ok or not. I have a wall charger type unit which is conveniently a plastic cigarette case in which everything sits comfortably. It took about 2 hours to pump up a full charge. This type of charger was recommended by Aarthy at Steamz over the USB type charger.It works great.
7) My only reservation is about the cartridge life. One cartridge should at least last a day. I cannot give an accurate measure of that right now because its new and I’m just su**ing away excitedly because of the novelty of it.
Overall, I realise that most reviews posted about the product and Steamz are about 2 years old. Also most hardcore smokers want an exact duplication of the real thing. I mean get real. You are buying into this product because YOU WANT TO LIVE A LITTLE HEALTHIER AND LONGER, RIGHT? So bend a little and give-n-take a bit here n there and get one of these ecigs. Mentally you have to be prepared to make the change. I peg the ecig at about 85% of the real thing and I think its great.
I would seriously recommend buying this product from whoever you choose.
My experience with STEAMZ has been actually great. I have smoked this pipe all day and haven’t felt the need to light up a real "death stick." In fact I’m really enjoying it. I’m actually smoking, getting my hit and not killing myself by doing so.
Would I recommend Steamz? YES! Maybe they screwed up in the past. But good customer service is the key(which they gave me) and if they don’t address their customer issues quickly, they are shooting themselves in the foot. Because they have a great product and its a shame if they cannot back it up.
In spite of that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS E-CIGARETTE AND ENCOURAGE ALL SMOKERS TO CONVERT TO IT.
